The New Angels have landed, Candice Swaneopel inspired look

First, let me say how excited I was to do this look....  I just LOVE Candice...I think she is breathtaking!
Her makeup is almost always my style... lots of golds, coppers, warm browns with pinky lips.  When I received the latest Victoria's Secret Promo in the mail I just knew I had to do a tutorial on it, it was right up my alley and I haven't done one in well forever.
I think it is such a sexy but not overdone look... My hubby just loved the look and wanted me to wear it the next day ... lol... SO you could call this guy approved makeup too (not that you need it ;)).

I hope that you enjoy the video that accompanies this blog post and let me know what you think.  Please see below for a full list of products:

                                                           FACE

  •  Revlon Color Stay Foundation, mixed 200 and 340 to tan myself up a bit and I applied it with a damp foundation.  I swear by this method as it gives the most uh-mazing finish to the skin.
  • Benefit Erase Paste in Light, applied in a triangle area under the eye to brighten and conceal.
  • MAC Cremeblend blush in so sweet, so easy to give a soft glow to the cheeks.
  • Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder in sand storm and Bronzer in sunlight mixed together to set the foundation (had to set with a darker powder because I went darker on the foundation.)
  • BE Hydrating Mineral Veil for under the eyes to set the concealer.. this powder has a nice brightner to it, so its perfect for under the eyes.
  • Rimmel bronzer again to warm up my skin (wouldn't be a victoria's secret look without it).
  • MAC Harmony blush as a contour color... MY perfect shade and if you are fair I would HIGHLY recommend it as it is a cool toned color and will actual match the shadowy colors in your natural contours.
  • MAC Silver Dusk highlighter for the high points of the face.

EYES

  • Apply eye primer
  • NYX jumbo eyeshadow pencil in Gold to the lid and inner bridge of the nose
  • Use a orangey red/copper shade into crease all the way to the bridge of the nose.  I used MAC Heat Element a mineralized eyeshadow duo
  • Use a light colored gold shadow that is very shimmery like BareMineral's Firelight
  • Use a cream or skin toned eye pencil.  I used Stilla's pencil in Topaz
  • Black pencil to the upper lash line push/smudged in, I blended my Stilla pencil in Onyx with a angled brush
  • Flesh toned powder to the brow bone. I used my pressed powder for this.
  • Fill in your brows I used Maybelline's brow pencil in Light brown
  • Curl your lashes and apply mascara I used Maybeline's one by one waterproof.  Waterproof mascara will hold your curl in the lashes like hairspray.

LIPS

  • Use a light Pink lipstick or gloss on your lips.  I used Revlon's Colorstay Lipglaze in Lasting Shimmer, then to emphasize fullness I applied a shimmery pink shade to the middle of my lips.  I used BareMinerals Bikini eyeshadow.

Signature Kim Kardashian's Smokey Eyes

I love this look, it is perfect for any occasion and with a few tweaks it could be made more bold or more subdued.  The best part? It is relatively easy to do.  For Kim's signature look you will need a deep blue with a purple undertone... sparkle or matte your decision but I would opt for a more matte or satin finish as I used a shimmer on the lid and inner corner. Any black eye shadow and eye liner will also be a necessity for the eyes.  On the cheeks you will need a nice hot pink (we all know that Kimmy loves her blush... heck, with those cheekbones I don't blame her).  On the lips a pinky nude... she almost always goes for more nude than pink but for my coloring a more pink shade is needed.

So here is a list of the products I used.
EYES:

  • Start of with a shimmery light base L'oreal HIP Cream shadow in Secretive
  • Crease color (main color) Too Faced Smoking Jacket
  • Still Eye Pencil in Onyx
  • Outer > and lower lashline Too Faced Smokin' Hot
  • Bare Escentuals Heavenly Diamond in the inner < and on lid
  • Maybeline One by One Mascara
  • Maybeline brown pencil
FACE:

  • Revlon Colorstay foundation applied with a damp blending sponge
  • Benefit Erase Paste in Light
  • Mix MAC So Sweet, So Easy cremeblend blush and Crushed Bougainvillea cream colored base for cheeks
  • Rimmel Stay matte pressed powder in Sand Storm mixed with the bronzer color Sun Light
  • Bronzer is Rimmel Sun Light and I used it for contouring
  • Loose powder for under eye is Bare Minerals mineral veil
  • Highlight under the eye is Bare Minerals hydrating mineral veil applied just to the shadow areas under the eyes
LIPS:

  • Ulta lip liner in Flesh
  • Revlon Colorburst lipstick in Carnation
  • Bare Escentuals lipgloss in 7n Layer cake
